Little Pups!

Some new little puppy dogs in the house....
Three in all two mischievous rascals and one very quiet, they are chewing everything in the bear house at the moment and will be available from my Etsy Shop over the next few days.

They like to jump up, run about, play and bark alot, in need of loving homes.....
(Please Note: These puppy dogs are not yet house trained, but have been wormed & de-flead!)

Busy with crochet!

I had never really tried crochet and recently thought I would give it a try.
Quite taken with it I have been digging around in my cupboards for odd bits off wool as I started with a hat and have now just finished my 3rd hat.
I am thinking of a bigger project to crochet not sure what as yet but maybe a shawl or something.
Mr. Ted wasn`t very happy about modelling the pink or peach hat but didn`t mind the blue one..Lol!
He has now gone back to sleep on the shelf where he lives.....

Oh! We do like to be beside the seaside!

Yesterday afternoon we went to the beach, it was quite windy so there were not many people there.... only a few bears!

The beach at Borth is a lovely beach and when the tide goes out you can see the anchient trees, if you would like to know more about this read about The legend of the lost land of  Cantre`r Gwaelod .
It is a very unusual sight to see and quite fasinating which makes you want to know more.
I like myths and legends as for a tale to survive for thousands of years there must be something to it.

We found some seaweed that had been washed up.

There were loads of jellyfish washed up too, my daughters spent most of the afternoon scooping up jellyfish with the sand beneath them and putting them back into the sea.
I hope that some survived they were very pretty.
Soaked through and wind swept thats it for our afternoon at the beach!

Spinning!

I`m spinning! and I don`t mean the static bicycle kind of spinning that seems to be all the rage at the moment.
I`m spinning wool........with a little help of course.
For some time now I have been thinking about having a go at spinning as I have been knitting for along time and liked the idea of preparing the wool myself.
So searching the internet I found a shop on Etsy from where I bought my drop spindle kit, please click the link and take a peek!  A Little Bit Sheepish
I requested pink colour fleece and the seller made a special listing for me, the kit arrived next day.

The instructions were easy to follow and I got started this morning...

Oh! and I had a little help along the way...

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Pip! what are you doing?
Get down from there before you fall!

What! ME!

Pip you naughty little bear!

Getting things ready and all that...
I have found with many thing bears like to help.

I  really enjoyed trying this today,  hoping with practice I will get better at it.
I am already having a few ideas what I will make with my yarn.
Finding this spinning very addictive I had trouble putting it down just wanted to keep on going, I am also finding it very relaxing and feel a sense of achievement!
I recommend this hobby to everyone!
